PenPower Technology Ltd (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") highly values the privacy and personal data protection of our users. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, protect, and share the information you provide while using the PenPower App (hereinafter referred to as "this App").

1. Data Collection

The Company collects the following data within the necessary scope of providing services in accordance with the "Personal Data Protection Act":

(1) Basic Personal Information: Name and email address (provided voluntarily when joining as a member or requesting support).
(2) Device Information: Including but not limited to device model, operating system version, unique device identifier (Device ID), App usage logs, IP address, and browser type.
(3) Logs and Diagnostic Data: Crash logs, error reports, and feature usage patterns used to improve App functionality and stability.
(4) Cookies: We use cookies to enhance your browsing experience. You may choose to refuse cookies through your browser settings, though this may cause some features to function improperly.

2. Purpose and Use of Data

The Company processes your data within the following specified purposes:

(1) Service Provision and Maintenance: Including account management, product warranty, customer support, and after-sales service.
(2) Marketing and Communication: Sending product updates, event notifications, or newsletters. You may opt-out of these communications at any time.
(3) Statistical Analysis and Research: Conducting anonymized user behavior analysis to improve the user experience.
(4) Legal Compliance: Complying with orders from courts, government authorities, or fulfilling other legal obligations.

3. Period, Territory, and Recipients of Data Utilization

(1) Period: During the duration of the service, or the retention period required by relevant laws or business execution.
(2) Territory: Republic of China (Taiwan), regions where the Company operates, server locations, and locations of service recipients.
(3) Recipients: Relevant internal personnel of the Company or necessary third-party partners (e.g., cloud service providers) to achieve the aforementioned purposes. The Company will never sell or lease your personal data to third parties unless required by law.

4. User Rights and Account Deletion Process

According to the Personal Data Protection Act, you have the right to inquire, review, request copies, supplement or correct, request cessation of collection/processing/utilization, or request deletion of your data.

A. Account and Data Deletion Path:
Users may apply to delete their account and related personal data at any time via the following paths:

(a) In-App Operation: Log in to the App -> Go to "Account Settings" or "Profile" -> Click "Delete Account" -> Follow the system prompts to confirm.
(b) Email Application: If you cannot log in to the App, please use your registered email to contact us at: android_support@penpowerinc.com with the subject line "Request for Account Deletion." We will process your request within 15 business days.

(2) Effect of Deletion: Once an account is deleted, all related personal data will be permanently removed and cannot be recovered. However, data that must be retained by law or for the execution of a contract will only be deleted after the statutory retention period expires.

5. Data Security and Protection

The Company takes reasonable technical and administrative measures to prevent data theft, tampering, or leakage. In the event of a personal data breach, the Company will investigate and notify you in an appropriate manner (e.g., email or public notice) and strive to prevent further damage.

6. Third-Party Links and Services

This service may contain third-party links. The privacy policies of such websites are the responsibility of their respective providers and are not covered by this policy.

7. Protection of Minors

If you are a minor, you should use this service only after your guardian has read and agreed to this policy. If we discover that we have collected personal data from a minor without guardian consent, we will delete it immediately.

8. Changes and Termination of Service

The Company may suspend or terminate your service after providing notice within a reasonable period (via in-app push or announcement) due to court orders, regulatory changes, fraudulent activity, or technical security factors.

This policy may be updated due to changes in law, service, or technology. The updated policy will be posted within the App or on the official website. Please check periodically.

10. Jurisdiction

The interpretation of this policy is governed by the laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan). In case of dispute, both parties agree that the Hsinchu District Court shall be the court of first instance.
